Hi! Everyone. Hope all of you are well. Welcome to Ruku's Authentic Kitchen Flavors where real food recipes are shared.
Today, I am going to share the easiest recipe which even the youngster can cook at home. Since young this was the easiest vegetable which I love to cook and you can eat with chicken curry, peratal or even varuval or just eat with plain rice. It is cabbage fried with chicken liver and gizzard. It is a quick fried vegetable. I like it crunchy so I do not over cook the cabbage. Those youngster out there try this at home. Nothing like home cooked food.
INGREDIENTS
1 small sized cabbage (thinly sliced)
10 french beans (sliced roughly)
5 pieces of liver (sliced it about 1/2 inch)
5 pieces of gizzard (sliced it about 1/2 inch)
1 big onions (sliced)
5 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
2 green chilies (sliced roughly)
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
Oil
Salt to taste
METHOD
1. Heat up oil in a wok. Add in the onions, garlic and green chilies. Stir evenly.
2. Then add in the turmeric powder and salt. Then mix well.
3. Now add in the liver and the gizzard. Combine everything well and cook about 3-4 minutes. We do not want the liver over cook either. Otherwise it will be bitter.
4. Then add in the french beans and stir well.
5. Now add in the cabbage and combine everything evenly. Taste for salt. Remember we already added salt earlier. So taste first before adding salt. After few stirs you can off the stove. It is all depend on you if you want to cook cabbage till soft. Personal preference.
6. Cabbage fried with liver and gizzard is ready to eat. Enjoy!
